Letter from Rick and Sandy Chitwood

March 25, 2008

Dear Friends,

Sandy and I are excited to be hosting the 2008 Clinical Meeting of the Coller Society from September 25-28 in Indianapolis. We certainly cannot offer you the scenic beauty of Montana, but we believe that you will enjoy Indianapolis and all it has to offer.

Indianapolis has a vibrant downtown area with a number of exceptional restaurants, shopping at the Circle Center Mall, the Capitol building, Conseco Fieldhouse (home of the Pacers), and the soon to be completed Lucas Oil Field (new home of the Colts). There are also a number of museums, galleries, monuments, and historical buildings in close proximity to the hotel.

The meeting will be hosted at the Conrad Hotel - Indianapolis' finest luxury hotel. It is located in the heart of downtown, which is a short ride from the Indianapolis airport. Car rental should not be required by most attendees as most events and attractions will be at or within walking distance of the hotel. The Conrad also has an outstanding Spa for those that desire a little pampering.

The reception on Thursday evening will be held at the Indianapolis Artsgarden, a seven story tall glass-enclosed structure adjacent to the hotel. It sits above the intersection of Washington and Illinois Street and offers spectacular views of the city. It is home to a number of exhibits and performances. Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

The clinical program will be held at the meeting rooms within the hotel. The usual Friday and Saturday morning format is planned. Breakfast for members, guests, and spouses will be available each morning.

The Brickyard Crossing Golf Course will be the site of the Friday afternoon golf event. The course was designed by Pete Dye. It is unique due to its location next to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Four of the eighteen holes are located within the Speedway itself. For the non-golfers we are looking into a trip to Conner Prairie, a local 19th century living history museum and a number of other afternoon activities including indoor karting for Friday and Saturday. Tennis will be available if there is enough interest.

Friday evening there will be an optional buy-in dinner event at the NCAA Hall of Champions. We will be able to tour the facility and view the exhibits while enjoying tailgating action stations. Bring your college sprit-wear to show us your favorite team.

The Saturday evening Farewell Dinner Dance will be held at the hotel and will have a fall foliage theme. Hors d'oeuvres and a four-course dinner are planned. The Impalas dance band will be featured.

As the meeting approaches we will update you with the final plans. If you have any suggestions for us, please drop us a note. We look forward to seeing everyone in the Fall.

With Warmest Regards,

Rick and Sandy Chitwood
